Australian Conservation Foundation

As one of Australia's leading environmental advocacy organisations for the past 40 years, the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) has a deep interest in corporate environmental responsibility and actively engages with Australia's corporate sector to improve environmental performance. This occurs through a variety of approaches, ranging from public campaigns opposing destructive projects or practices through to collaborative work on research and policy development with leading companies.

As part of ACF's work, we are interested in pursuing the potential of the OECD Guidelines as a tool for improving the environmental practices of Australian corporations, both in Australia and overseas. ACF has some capacity to investigate and prepare specific instances where warranted, and has previously led a collaborative specific instance filing concerning the provision of financial services by an Australian bank to illegal and unsustainable logging activities in Papua New Guinea.
