CEIA is A pro – poor scientific oriented research based non – governmental organisation established in 2006. The mission of CEIA is to protect human health and the environment. The objectives for which CEIA was formed are: to independently monitor and assess the levels of toxic chemicals used by MNE in the extractive and manufacturing industries in Ghana; to advocate for environmentally sound mining practices.
