FDS - Fondation pour le Développement au Sahel

The Fondation pour le Développement au Sahel (FDS) is a non-governmental organisation, created in 1991, that primarily works on the fields of environment, education, and health. As part of its environment programme, FDS works with communities affected by the extractives industry and as part of the Malian Civil Society Coalition. FDS is the civil society representative to the national ITIE Committee, in which context it works on the issue of gold mining.
