Incomindios

Incomindios is a Swiss based human rights organization which supports the indigenous peoples in their struggle for their political, social, cultural and religious rights. Important activities are lobbying and information of the public in Switzerland, assistance and consultation to indigenous representatives, especially supporting their presence at the relevant UN conferences and bodies. Incomindios has obtained ECOSOC-status at the UN in 2003.

The interests of indigenous communities and multinational companies become more and more interrelated and often cause irritation. This issue is becoming increasingly important for indigenous peoples and for Incomindios. Incomindios can offer its services as an intermediary between those interests. The OECD guidelines are an important concrete instrument to channel complaints
