Kaisampalad, Inc. (KPI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization promoting local economy development through collaboration of the various stakeholders in the value chain system and promotion of corporate social responsibility and accountability. KPI establishment of a network of civil society organization for the promotion of corporate accountability and responsibility and the adoption of a local CSO framework on CSR-CA. In the near future, KPI will be expanding the membership of the network to draft local human rights, labor, and environmental standards of compliance to measure corporate accountability. Presently, KPI is undertaking a research on the impact of contamination of water supply in the environs of the former Philips factory resulting from the use of trichloroethyelene in its production processes.
