Shehri-CBE - Citizens for a Better Environment

Shehri- CBE, citizens for a better environment, was formed in 1988 by a group of concerned citizens.  Its aim is to provide fellow citizens with a platform to effectively voice concerns about their society and to encourage involvement in the determination of its future.  Shehri-CBE aims to encourage citizens to not only act to stop the deterioration of their living environment but to also improve it. Sheri is a non-political organization, based in the city of Karachi and operates as a pressure group and a conscious raising organization interfacing with citizens, civic and metropolitan bodies and higher tiers of government. It acts as a catalyst for generating debates and searching for solutions to urban problems.
