TI-D - Transparency International German Chapter
Transparency International (TI) is a global civil society organization with ca. 90 locally established chapters jointly engaged in leading the fight against corruption. The network is deeply involved in the development and on going promotion of the Global Compact; the OECD Convention against Bribery; the OECD Guidelines for MNEs; the OECD Export Credits Support and Guarantees Group (ECG); the UN Convention against Corruption; and the existing and prospective WTO rules on Transparency in Government Procurement.
On specific request, TI has assisted multinational enterprises in developing and installing individual company and / or sector ethical codes of conduct. TI has developed the “Integrity Pact”, an instrument to ensure transparent, non-corruptive public procurement practices. TI-Germany has been a member of OECD Watch since its founding in 2003.
