The highlights of this Quarterly Case Update include three new OECD Guidelines complaints against Goldcorp Inc, Triumph and Vattenfall AB. Additionally, the Argentine and UK NCPs have closed in the cases against Skanska and Vedanta resources. Other developments have taken place in the cases against Cermaq, Intex Resources, SHV Holdings, Shell, and the Toyota Motor Company.

The key issues fall into three categories: conditions and modalities for the review process, scope and issues related to the substantive provisions of the Guidelines, and Procedural Guidance-related issues.

Response to the UK consultation on the terms of reference for an update of the OECD Guidelines

November 2009

On November 2009, the International Bar Association (IBA) created a Working Group to review the OECD Guidelines and respond to the consultation document requesting the views of key stakeholders on the priority areas in the Guidelines requiring update that was prepared by the UK Department of Business Innovation + Skills.
