But still far behind. An Assessment of Canada's Contact Point for the OECD Guidelines for Multinaltional Enterprises

This November 2016 report provides an assessment of Canadas National Contact Point (NCP) for the OECD Guidelines.  The report assesses the NCPs performance to date, particularly with regard to harm prevention and access to remedy. It examines the NCPs handling of five complaints concerning Canadian corporate misconduct abroad, all of which involved allegations of human rights violations and/or environmental harm associated with the extractive sector, and provides analysis to illustrate the ineffectiveness of the NCP grievance process.  The report was published by Above Ground, MiningWatch Canada and OECD Watch.
