Civil society priorities to ensure a progressive update of the OECD Guidelines
This submission sets out civil society priorities for updating the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Priority topics include strengthening expectations for National Contact Points to implement the Guidelines and handle complaints, and improving business standards on topics such as climate change, human right defenders, digitalisation, and taxation, among others. This submission represents OECD Watch’s contribution to the OECD’s 13 January – 10 February 2023 public consultation on the consultation draft of the OECD Guidelines.
