The mission of “Ecological Manifesto – ManEco” Foundation is to raise awareness on climate change related topics. The organization works to provide climate change education and consultancy and to empower citizens with knowledge and skills to be active leaders of positive change. Furthermore, as it is stated in the name of the organization its foundation is based over the Ecological Manifesto which is socio-ecological framework for building sustainable and resilient communities and a global call for humanity to be more energy and resource efficient and to produce less waste.
During the years the organization has been member of international networks and organizations such as European Climate Pact, Climate Fresk Association, YOUNGO, the Earth Charter, EOTO World, Global Thinkers Forum, Citizens Climate Lobby, the World Future Society and the U.S. Government International Exchange Alumni Community.
In June 2023 the organization was recognized along with other partner organizations as a member of global coalition endorsing the Global Recognition of the Right to a Healthy Environment. The UN General Assembly awarded the coalition with the highest human rights prize – the UN Human Rights Award.
